Real life is sometimes unintentionally beautiful

Forough Alaei is an Iranian photographer who began her career as a photojournalist before shifting her focus to documentary and filmmaking. Alaei's photography frequently explores human and social themes, with a particular emphasis on women's rights. Her work has won numerous competitions including the World Press Photo Contest, Pictures of the Year International (POYi) and Istanbul Photo Contest.
